The Show is Over

The online bear show is over. Thank you to everyone who came by to take a look. All the Bears and bunnies I have posted are still available to purchaase. You can also come and see them in person this Saturday and Sunday at the D.C. Big Flea Market, and at the Teddy Bear Artist Invitational (TBAI) in Bighamton in August.

Summer Update!

Summer 2012 is going to be a very busy one. I Just got back from the John C. Campbell Folk School where I took a marionette class with Leslie Molen, a doll artist from Denver, CO. (This wa my second class with her; the last was a Santos cage doll.)

I heard the name Ainsleigh and it stuck in my mind. I kept saying it over and over and I thought it would be a nice name for a pretty girl bear.  CoCo Alexander is a fashionista bear. Her name was inspired by designer CoCo Chanel and by the lovely dolls made by Madame Alexander. She is made of mohair and is fully jointed.
